Adds Away Document authoring for use in AWD-enabled engines such as AwayJS

An Away Document can be exported as an AWD file, ready to use with open source playback resources from The Away Foundation including AwayJS for WebGL playback.

AWD is a compact binary format optimised for accelerated 2D & 3D animation content.

After clicking the ”Install” button in Adobe Add-ons, your Creative Cloud desktop app should log the installation of the extension locally in your activity stream.

From here, launch Adobe Animate CC and look for ”Away Document (Custom)” in the list of new document types on the home screen or in the New Document window accessed from File -> New...

An Away Document is published to an AWD file, a compressed production binary. Publish settings can be accessed from File -> Publish Settings

Addional to the custom document type, the extensions provides a Panel called ”AwayTools” that can be accessed from Window -> Extensions -> AwayTools.

The ”AwayTools” panel is accessable at ”Window”->”Extensions”->”AwayTools”
